The app sends an alert when it's a friend's birthday and even offers a surprise for the child's own birthday. To ensure a safe environment, the app only allows invitations from people who know the child's mobile phone number, email address, or Xooloo Friend code.

Xooloo Messenger Kids is completely free to use and does not require any subscriptions or in-app purchases. However, for children under 13, parental consent is required. Parents will have access to their child's contacts but will not be able to read their messages or chats.

For parents, the app offers the ability to invite their child to use the app, but the child can choose to decline the invitation. Parents can also suggest contacts for their child, but the child has the freedom to accept or decline these suggestions. It's important to note that when mentioning the app to friends, it's spelled with an "x" and not a "z" like "zooloo."
